The number of homemade cookie bakers rising
The Charleston, South Carolina-based startup Grey Ghost Bakery, which bakes cookies from scratch, has announced intentions to invest $395,000 to expand production and co-packing capabilities at its facilities. The expansion is anticipated to provide 25 employment when it is finished later this summer.
Grey Ghost Bakery was established in 2011 and specializes in hand-formed, scratch cookies with tastes such chocolate espresso, molasses spice, lemon sugar, and chocolate bourbon. Products from the brand can be bought online or at a few specific merchants.
