The new leader of Nestle’s strategic business segments is named.

Switzerland’s Vevey Beginning on March 1, 2021, Bernard Meunier will lead Nestle SA’s marketing and sales divisions as head of strategic business units. He will take over for Patrice Bula, who intends to leave the company in February 2021 after 40 years of service.

Mr. Meunier has worked with Nestle for 35 years. Most recently, he oversaw the company’s operations throughout Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. He has held this position for the last seven years. Prior to that, he worked for the corporation in top leadership roles in marketing, sales, and general management. He also held market head positions in Hungary, the Russia and Eurasia region, and the Iberia region.

Furthermore, as of March 1, 2021, David Rennie, the leader of the Nestle Coffee Brands group, has joined the executive board of the corporation. Given that coffee is one of the company’s primary growth pillars, Nestle said the decision underscores the strategic relevance of his work.

Nestle CEO Mark Schneider said, “I would like to thank Patrice for the tremendous job he has done over the course of 40 years at Nestle on behalf of our board of directors and our executive board.” We are thrilled to have Bernard as our successor—a dynamic leader with a track record of expanding enterprises.
