The CEO of Golden Malted Waffles is hired.
GLEN MILLS, Pennsylvania Michael DiBeneditto has been named chief executive officer of Golden Malted and Heartland Waffles, a foodservice manufacturer and distributor of waffle mix and irons that was recently acquired by specialty private equity firm Arbor Investments. According to the company, Mr. DiBeneditto will leverage his experience in route-based distribution in his new position to drive strategic growth by concentrating on building client relationships, growing route operations, streamlining supply chains, and carrying out marketing campaigns.
Formerly serving as CEO of Ferraro Foods, Mr. DiBeneditto oversaw 300 route operators that supplied Italian speciality foods to both independent eateries and national chains located in the eastern part of the United States. He held the position of division president at Performing Food Group before joining Ferrero Foods.
Mr. DiBeneditto graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a master’s in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in food marketing.
