Kansas City Restaurants are stepping up their ingenuity to reflect seasonal flavors and promote summer activities as Memorial Day approaches and summer quickly approaches.
The Berry Powdered Donut, a fruity new donut from Dunkin’, and Dunkin’ Lemonade Refreshers, a refreshing beverage perfect for summertime, are being introduced. The drinks, which are available in strawberry, peach, and blueberry flavors, consist of lemonade, flavored fruit concentrate, and B vitamins.
According to Jill Nelson, vice president of marketing and cuisine at Dunkin’, “just in time for the unofficial start of the season, Dunkin’ is delivering the celebration people are craving with a duo of delightful new choices created with warm weather and long sunny days in mind.” “Dunkin’ is kicking off a sweet summer in America.”
With their new Island Time Collection of tropical-flavored donuts, which includes the Pina Colada, Island Time, and Key Lime Pie flavors, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. is commemorating summer vacations.
“People have been fantasizing about going back to their summer vacations,” stated Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s chief marketing officer. “Everyone will experience a delightful taste of the tropics with our new Island Time doughnuts.”
Summer barbecue-themed items may be found on the new All Fired Up menu at O’Charley’s Restaurant + Bar. The Tumbleweed Burger, Bone-in Cowboy Ribeye, Smokey Mountain BBQ Chicken, Smokehouse Appetizer Combo, and Campfire Potatoes are among the menu items.

In anticipation of grilling season, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is introducing a new pulled pork sandwich and side dish. The restaurant is launching new Texas sweet corn and the Sweet King’s Hawaiian pulled pork sandwich with Dr. Pepper barbecue sauce.

For summer, Pinkberry is expanding its menu to include new Cold Brew Fruit Teas in strawberry hibiscus and mango passionfruit flavors, as well as Island Mango Frozen Yogurt.
