Shakes and vitamins from Herbalife are introduced into the plant-based market.
LOS ANGELES A line of plant-based products called Herbalife V has been introduced by health and wellness company Herbalife Nutrition.
According to the firm, the Herbalife V line includes two protein shake options as well as a range of dietary supplements intended to enhance immune and digestive health. The line is certified organic, kosher, and non-GMO verified.
According to Humbi Calleja, vice president and general manager of Herbalife, North America, “plant-based is no longer limited to vegans but has expanded to the general population looking to incorporate healthier options as part of their daily nutrition.” “With the launch of the Herbalife V, we are meeting their goals whether they eat only plants or mostly plants, want to add more plants to their diet or are plant curious.” “Today’s consumer is savvy, reads labels, and understands healthy ingredients.”
The traditional and chocolate flavours of the protein beverages are made with pea protein, pumpkin seeds, and chia to provide 20 grammes of protein per serving. Herbalife claims that the shakes can have practical advantages like assisting with craving satisfaction, preserving lean muscular tone, and sustaining vitality and encouraging good skin.
