All of Schmacon beef bacon’s patents and intellectual property are now owned exclusively by Devanco Foods. The transaction’s financial details were kept a secret.
Furthermore, Schmacon inventor and founder Howard Bender has decided to join Devanco as director of beef bacon products.

According to the firm, the beef bacon has about 80% less fat, 35% less sodium, and 35% fewer calories per 2-slice serving than regular pig bacon. It also has 6 grams of protein and 70 calories per serving.
