Popcorn brand Jonas Brothers obtains Series A investment

The Jonas Brothers and The Naked Market founded Rob’s Backstage Popcorn, a brand that has raised $7 million in a Series A fundraising round supported by celebrities to assist national expansion at Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, Sam’s Club, and other retailers.

Rob’s Backstage Popcorn made its debut in 2021 and was inspired by the band’s favorite on-tour snack. The father of the band’s former bass guitarist, Greg Garbowsky, is a family friend Rob Garbowsky, who invented the original recipe’s sweet-and-savory spice. Since then, the company has added more products to its menu, such as a barbecue dish produced in association with vocalist Kelly Clarkson and an Indian spice blend developed with producer and actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The goods may be purchased in over 8,000 locations across the country as well as online at eatrobs.com.

Co-founder Nick Jonas of Rob’s Backstage Popcorn stated, “I’m excited for the upward trajectory to continue. It’s been such a journey to see Rob’s Backstage Popcorn grow over the past few years.” “It’s also exciting to include my wife, Priyanka, and even more close friends and family members.”

The Naked Market, a San Francisco-based company founded in 2019, develops and markets snack brands by leveraging direct consumer relationships and endorsing different causes that are in line with each concept. Project Breakfast, a canned plant-based protein beverage; AvoCrazy, a series of puffed snacks made of avocados; Beach House Bowls, ready-to-eat acai smoothie bowls; and Flock, a variety of crispy rotisserie chicken chips, are among the products in the portfolio.

Co-founder and CEO of The Naked Market Harrison Fugman stated, “We look forward to entering the next chapter with Rob’s, and this fundraise will help facilitate that.” “We are eager to present our highly anticipated projects to the public and are thrilled about what we have been working on at Rob’s.”
