Planterra launches its new a plant-based OZO IS A brand at retail.

The location is Lafayette, Colorado. With the introduction of OZO, a line of plant-based burger patties, ground, and ground meat substitutes seasoned with Mexican flavours, Planterra Foods is making its retail debut.

All of OZO’s plant-based protein products are soy-free, non-GMO, and BeVegn-certified vegan. The new products offer up to 22 grammes of protein and are made using a blend of rice and pea protein fermented by shiitake mushrooms.

“With the launch of OZO, our team at Planterra Foods is taking you on a journey through the world of plant-based protein with all the flavours and foods you love most,” stated Darcey Macken, CEO of the company. “As a friendly plant-based brand, we take great satisfaction in OZO’s simplicity of preparation—just like you would make it in your own kitchen. We can’t wait for people to try OZO for the first time and discover the delight of enjoying wholesome cuisine that prioritises flavour. Our priority is providing food for coming generations, particularly those who want to show off the range of proteins they can offer.”

The goods are low in calories, fat, and saturated fat and free of cholesterol fat content of 80% or less, along with other top-tier plant-based protein brands available today, as stated by the business. OZO offers a premium pea protein that is an excellent source of iron and has been shown to support heart health, weight loss, and muscular growth. In addition to using plant-based ink on all of its packaging, the OZO product line stores its items in recyclable trays and cartons.
