Pizzas suitable for keto are made by Foster Farms.
California’s Livingston Foster Farms is reaching out to consumers who are watching their carb intake by introducing Smart Crust frozen pizzas, which include a crust composed of egg whites, chicken breast, and parmesan cheese.
Available in three varieties—Four Cheese, Uncured Pepperoni, and Uncured Bacon Club—Smart Crust pizzas are gluten-free, grain-free, and keto certified. Each half-pizza serving has four grammes of carbohydrates.
White cheddar, provolone, parmesan, and mozzarella cheeses are shredded on the Four Cheese pizza. 24 grammes of protein and 240 calories are included in each serving.
The ingredients of the Uncured Pepperoni pizza include uncured pepperoni, shredded mozzarella cheese, and pizza sauce. Each serving has 25 grammes of protein and 260 calories.
Diced tomatoes, roasted onions, uncured bacon, shredded provolone and mozzarella cheeses, and buttermilk ranch sauce are the toppings for the Uncured Bacon Club pizza. There are 23 grammes of protein and 280 calories per serving.
“We are aware that more consumers are attempting to eat healthier and reduce their carb intake, which includes searching for gluten-free options,” stated Jennifer Corsiglia-Keim, Foster Farms’ marketing director. It’s not always simple to locate delectable low-carb substitutes for the foods we love. You get everything with Smart Crust pizza that you enjoy, minus the carbohydrates. Instead of pizza guilt, this is just pure pizza delight.
Foster Farms Smart Crust pizza will be available in eighteen specific markets across the US for $5.99 each 8-8.5-oz package. Among the retailers taking part in the Smart Crust launch are Safeway, Albertsons, and Kroger. The product will be available at Harris Teeter locations in South and North Carolina.
