Noosa joins the market for drinkable yoghurt.
Bellvue, Colorado: With a new range of fruit smoothies, Sovos Brands subsidiary noosa yoghurt LLC is joining the drinkable yoghurt market.
These smoothies, which come in strawberry, strawberry banana, mixed berry, and mango flavours, have whole milk yoghurt blended with fruit puree, cane sugar, and wildflower honey. 160 calories, 5 grammes of protein, and 6 grammes of fat are found in every 7-oz serving.
“Yoghurt drinks have grown at a rate of +10% annually for each of the last five years,” stated Jason Vieth, general manager and executive vice president of Sovos Brands. “Consumers adore the drinkable category, but competitors’ flavours and textures have been lacking.”
He continued, “The smoothies are a good source of protein and tick both of those boxes.”
In addition, Mr. Vieth stated, “they’re a great way to switch up snacking habits for people looking for something tasty and convenient any time of day.” “Despite the fact that COVID has restricted access to certain in-person dining options, such as restaurants and smoothie bars, customers can still enjoy delicious smoothies at home with their preferred Noosa yoghurt flavours without compromising on texture or flavor.”
Retailers like Safeway, Shaw’s, Ingles, Spartan Nash, AWG, Wakefern, ACME, Meijer, and HyVee carry the new noosa fruit smoothies, which will be distributed across the country in early 2021.
