New CEO of TGI Fridays is named
Dallas — The new chief executive officer of TGI Friday will be Brandon Coleman III. As US president and chief marketing officer, Mr. Coleman joined the company in 2022 and oversaw the TGI Fridays brand in addition to the domestic corporate and franchise stores.
In his role as CEO, Mr. Coleman will push the company’s expansion of new restaurant locations both domestically and abroad, as well as its hospitality and entertainment sectors. Additionally, Mr. Coleman will assist in developing new partnerships, cocktails, and products in the non-alcoholic, wine, beer, and spirits industries.
“Brandon has consistently demonstrated that innovation, when combined with a strong brand legacy, is the secret to long-term and significant growth,” stated Rohit Manocha, co-founder and chairman of the board of TriArtisan Capital Advisors. “Brian has been driving greater relevance and stronger connection with today’s consumers since he first joined the company as our chief marketing officer, following a storied career in the restaurant industry.”
Mr. Coleman held the positions of chief marketing officer and senior vice president at Dave & Busters prior to joining TGI Fridays. In addition, he was the CEO and management consultant for Brava Partners in addition to holding multiple executive positions at Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group.
