Nestle and Starbucks reveal an extended assortment of fall groceries.

VEVEY, THE SWISS — Along with the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte assortment, Nestle SA and Starbucks Corp. are introducing an extended fall grocery portfolio.

A new line of products includes a creamer with a salted caramel mocha flavour, ground coffee and K-Cup pods with a maple pecan flavour and Teavana tea sachets with flavours like spiced apple cider and lemon ginger bliss.

Along with Fall Blend flavoured K-Cup pods and ground coffee, the existing fall portfolio includes an instant espresso, creamer, RTD latte and coffee with a pumpkin spice flavour. The new products join this roster.

“We’re excited to introduce new and returning Pumpkin Spice products to our customers who eagerly await fall each year, along with fresh options influenced by café patrons’ favourites,” stated Tony Matta, president of Nestle Coffee Partners. Because of the global coffee alliance that was formed in 2018 between Starbucks and Nestle, which combines the skills and experience of two of the top coffee companies in the world, Starbucks is ideally positioned to address rising and changing consumer needs.

Coffee with a new maple pecan flavour blends toasted pecan notes and according to the firms, Starbucks’ lightest roast maple has a slightly sweet taste. At a suggested retail price of $9.99, 11-oz bags of ground coffee are offered. K-Cups pods may be purchased for $9.99 for a 10-count and $19.99 for a 22-count at suggested retail prices.

Available in 28-oz bottles with a suggested retail price of $4.99, the Salted Caramel Mocha is made with cocoa, sweet caramel, and a touch of salt.

With a hint of clove, toasty cinnamon, and crisp apple, Teavana Spiced Apple Cider is made with rooibos from South Africa. The Lemon Ginger Bliss Tea combines strawberry aromas with ginger and citrus. The tea sachets retail for a suggested retail price of $5.99 when purchased in 12-packs.
