Nelson will oversee Dunkin’ Brands’ marketing.
CANTON, Massachusetts — At Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc., Jill McVicar Nelson has been appointed vice-president of marketing strategy. She will oversee a restructured team in her new position, which will be in charge of value and price strategies, brand marketing, and planning.
Prior to this, Ms. Nelson worked for Dunkin’ Brands as the chief executive officer’s chief of staff and director of corporate strategy. Since joining Dunkin’ in 2011, she has worked in a number of positions, including manager of strategic initiatives, senior price analyst, and analyst of business analytics. She worked as a consultant at IBM Global Business Services before to joining Dunkin’.
David Hoffmann, chief executive officer of Dunkin’ Brands, stated, “We are combining our strategic, go-to-market functions into one team in order to accelerate the growth of Dunkin’ U.S. through a more integrated marketing approach, and I am delighted to announce the appointment of Jill as the vice-president to lead this group.”

Ms. Nelson graduated from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth with a master’s degree in business administration after earning a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University.
