General Mills and Keurig Dr. Pepper collaborate on cereal-inspired coffee.
BURLINGTON, Massachusetts — In partnership with General Mills, Inc., Keurig Dr. Pepper brand The Original Donut Shop is introducing new K-Cup pods with a Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor.
The classic coffee blend from Original Donut Shop, dairy creamer, and cinnamon sugar essence are all included in the ready-to-brew latte recipe. Through March 2024, Walmart will be the exclusive online and in-store retailer of the pods; a wider nationwide launch is scheduled for the spring of the same year.
“The Original Donut Shop Coffee Cinnamon Toast Crunch One Step Latte perfectly exemplifies our commitment to innovation with mood-boosting treats,” said Becky Opdyke, senior vice president of Coffee Marketing at Keurig Dr. Pepper. “At the heart of our brand lies the passion for inspiring consumers to discover uniquely delicious coffees.” “We are excited to work with a company as iconic as Cinnamon Toast Crunch and provide coffee lovers with an entirely new way to enjoy the cereal’s well-loved flavors.”

The debut signifies the latest addition to a line of new products inspired by the cinnamon cereal, which also includes Dunkaroos, General Mills’ Oat Bars and Pillsbury soft baked cookies, and Stuffed Puffs’ filled marshmallows.
Mindy Murray, brand experience director of General Mills Cereal, stated, “We’re always looking for new ways to bring the epic flavor of Cinnamon Toast Crunch to fans, and given the love we see for the Cinnamilk at the end of a bowl of cereal, a latte pairing with the ease of a K-Cup pod was a natural fit.”
