Grant program helps early-stage brands scale operations

Applications are being accepted for the Emerging Brands Alliance’s 2023 grant program. One $50,000 grant will be given by the organization to a high-growth consumer products company to assist in purchasing processing or packaging equipment for their manufacturing facility or the facility of a co-manufacturer.

Three firms received grant funds totaling $60,000 from the Emerging Brands Alliance last year. Based on product innovation, brand story, and growth potential, a jury of industry specialists chose Yishi, Pescavore, and Sarilla from among over 460 candidates.

On September 10, at the Emerging Brands Summit in Las Vegas, the recipient of the 2023 grant award will be announced. Eligible brands must have yearly sales between $1 million and $20 million and manufacture and distribute packaged consumer goods in the US or Canada.

“We hope the impact will be quite meaningful to the winner’s ability to grow their operations,” stated Kim Overstreet, director of Emerging Brands Alliance, a platform that provides early-stage businesses with growth opportunities and community support. “We are very pleased to be able to offer a grant of this size and unique nature.” “This is a great way to make an impact, and our mission is to provide resources to help growing CPGs scale their operations.”
