Enlightened introduces chocolate syrup devoid of sugar.

Beyond Better Foods is adding new Sugar-free Chocolate Syrup to its Enlightened range of low-sugar confections.

Enlightened Sugar-free Chocolate Syrup is manufactured with soluble corn fiber, water, cocoa, salt, natural flavor, and citric acid. It is sweetened with erythritol and monk fruit. Twenty calories, nine grams of fiber, one gram of net carbohydrates, and no sugar are included in each one-tablespoon serving. According to the firm, traditional chocolate syrup can have up to 12 grams of net carbohydrates and 10 grams of sugar.

Beyond Better Foods President and CEO Michael Shoretz declared, “You can’t have a classic ice cream sundae without a little chocolate syrup on top.” “We’re excited to provide a zero-sugar option without sacrificing flavor or texture—two factors that are crucial for chocolate syrup.”

The introduction of sugar-free ice cream cones in February, the brand’s first step outside the frozen section, was followed by the release of Enlightened Sugar-free Chocolate Syrup. In addition, Enlightened sells cheesecakes that are keto-friendly, fruit bars that are infused with adaptogens, snackable cookie dough bits, ice cream pints, and ice cream bars.

“With significantly less sugar, we now have all the ingredients to create the perfect ice cream sundae: a cone, a scoop of creamy ice cream, a few dough bites, and a drizzle of syrup,” Mr. Shoretz stated.

The 15-oz bottle of Enlightened Sugar-free Chocolate Syrup costs $11.99 on Amazon right now. In the upcoming months, it will also be available at Whole Foods Market, Sprouts Farmers Market, Pavilions, Albertsons, Fresh Thyme, and other stores.
