Crespel & Deiters gains traction in the US market
The US market has been penetrated by the wheat starch and protein manufacturer Crespel & Deiters Group through its recently established subsidiary, Crespel & Deiters Food USA LP.
The Chicago-based company will supply plant-based product makers in North America with functional ingredients from Crespel & Deiters, including binders and texturizers. Moreover, the business has put in place local storage facilities to shorten the time it takes to distribute its wheat-based products.
“We have accumulated a wealth of experience over time by specializing in wheat,” stated Philipp Deiters, a board member of Crespel & Deiters. “The goal of our business is to exploit this renewable raw material as much as possible to develop creative solutions. This enables our clients to accomplish more with less, all while working together to protect the resources of our planet.
