Yum! Brands and Cracker Barrel Old Country Store have appointed two new team members to Restaurants Holdings Inc., the parent company of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s.

Jennifer Tate, who was chief marketing officer and senior vice president at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, is joining the firm. She will be leading CKE Restaurants’ marketing efforts. The new chief financial officer of CKE Restaurant is Mike Lenihan, formerly of Yum! Brands’ vice president of planning and analysis and treasury.

Ms. Tate worked in marketing at Olive Garden at Darden Restaurants in addition to her tenure at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store.

She graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in international relations, George Washington University with a master’s degree in international affairs, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a master’s degree in business administration.

Mr. Lenihan has over 20 years of experience with Yum! companies and has worked with KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and other companies.Miami University in Ohio awarded him a bachelor’s degree in finance.Compared to the record 430,284,000 cwts in 2022, production last year was down 10,527,000 cwts, or 2.4%. Since 2011, when 411,745,000 cwts of flour were milled, this was the lowest annual amount. The annual flour production for the majority of the time between 2012 and 2021 was between 1 million and 425 million cwts. In 2023, there was a 10.5 million cwt annual fall, which was the biggest in 22 years. Since 2001, production has decreased by 16,759,000 cwt from the previous year.

US flour output was  cwts in the fourth quarter of 2022, down  cwts, or fromcwts in The October-December aggregate was the lowest since  cwts. 2013 set a record with a fourth-quarter flour production of 110,332,000 cwts. It was also the only quarter in which the 110 million CWT mark was crossed, making it a record for any quarter.

Contrary to the previous year’s general dec cwts from 30,629,000 cwts in 2022 by 276,000 cwts, or 0.9%. Production of semolina was 7,984,000 cwt in the fourth quarter, down 35,000 cwts, or 0.4%, from 8,019,000 cwts in the previous quarter.
