A Mexican restaurant chain introduces burrito bowl kits.
Miguel Leal, co-founder and chief executive officer of SOMOS, stated, “One of our goals with SOMOS is to get American consumers cooking Mexican food in their home kitchens with the same ease that they grab a box of pasta and jar of marinara sauce to cook Italian food.” “Without spending hours in the kitchen, our burrito bowl kits are the ideal way to help people become comfortable cooking delicious Mexican food that highlights the richness of Mexican cuisine.”
Target stores will be the only places where the kits are sold as part of SOMOS’ introduction to the national chain. The brand’s salsa machas, which made their debut in June, Mexican black beans, chipotle refried beans, and other items are also finding their way onto Target stores.
