A brand-new Mediterranean snack company launches
Boulder, Colorado — A new range of superfood on-the-go snacks produced with sustainably sourced Mediterranean ingredients is being introduced by Tulia, a Mediterranean snack brand.
“I learned from my Mediterranean-style upbringing in Israel that delicious food and excellent nutrition go hand in hand,” Tulia’s founder and CEO Gadi Friedman remarked. “The Tulia vegan snack collection is guided by this principle.”
Tulia Supersnacks are plant-based, USDA certified organic, kosher, naturally sweet tahini snacks that aren’t sweetened with additional sugar. The low-glycemic treats are free of nuts, gluten, and dairy and have stone-ground tahini prepared from sesame seeds from Ethiopia’s Humera area. The tahini is served with dates, apples, and pomegranates—all Mediterranean products that are sourced ethically. There are four varieties of Tulia Supersnacks: chocolate, pomegranate, apple cinnamon, and Mighty Date.
Each pouch of the chocolate type, which has 160 calories, 12 grammes of sugar, and 3 grammes of protein, is produced with powdered sesame seeds, date syrup, water, and cocoa powder.
Ground sesame seeds, date syrup, apple juice, water, and cinnamon are ingredients in the apple cinnamon flavour. There are 160 calories, 14 grammes of sugar, and 3 grammes of protein in each pouch.
The pomelo this snack has 160 calories, 14 grammes of sugar, 3 grammes of protein, and is made with pulverised sesame seeds, date syrup, pomegranate juice, and water in each pouch.
Date syrup, water, cardamom, cinnamon, and ground sesame seeds are all combined to make the Mighty Date Supersnack. 170 calories, 14 grammes of sugar, and 4 grammes of protein are found in each pouch.
Mr. Friedman stated, “Our objective is to offer a healthier substitute for sugar-laden snacks without sacrificing the delicious flavours we all love.” Mediterranean families have been enjoying our treats, which are made with three or four ingredients, for centuries.
Tulia Supersnacks come in 4.2-ounce tearaway pouches and cost $39. You can purchase a 16-pouch variety pack of the snacks on the company’s website.
