Maine’s Portland The company Thor’s Skyr, which produces authentic Icelandic skyr yoghurt, is launching a lactose-free product range.
Because the formulation naturally has a higher sugar content than traditional skyr, the company was able to develop a lactose-free, easily digestible substitute that will help you maintain lower blood sugar levels. The basic skyr type has 21 grammes of protein per 6-oz cup, while the flavoured varieties—vanilla, strawberry, and blueberry—have 18 grammes.
